I recommend a car-free getaway, especially with the Mont Blanc Express train!

Access by road
Take the A40 motorway to Saint-Gervais. Follow signs for Chamonix Mont-Blanc, then Argentières. In Argentières, follow signs for Col des Montets and Vallorcine.
220 km from Lyon / 95km from Geneva / 115km from Annecy / 186km from Turin / 260km from Zurich.
Please note that from November 1st to March 31st of each year, vehicles must be equipped (Mountain Law).

Access by train: a car-free escape
SNCF train stations in the resorts of Chamonix and Vallorcine (Le Mont Blanc Express).
You will travel between Servoz-Chamonix-Vallorcine for free with the provided guest card.
The Mont Blanc Express : The SNCF line serves all the villages from St Gervais-les-bains-le Fayet to Martigny (Switzerland) via Servoz, Les Houches, Chamonix, Argentière and Vallorcine.
From France: TGV to Annecy / Lyon / Bellegarde / Chambéry or Saint-Gervais les Bains le Fayet. Then Mont-Blanc Express regional train from Saint-Gervais les Bains le Fayet to Chamonix, then Vallorcine.
Via Switzerland: Train from Geneva via Lausanne and Martigny.
Direct connection by train from Martigny to Vallorcine via the Mont Blanc Express.
Trains run every hour between Chamonix and Vallorcine (and sometimes every 30 minutes).

Vallorcine train station is a 5-minute walk from the apartments!
You can do good for the planet by coming by train and traveling exclusively by train during your stay!
When the train stops running (last train departing Chamonix: 7:55 pm), the Chamo'nuit shuttles take over. Please note there are two lines to use, one of which is on-demand:
- Line N1 Chamonix to Argentière La Fis or Argentière La Fis to Chamonix: no reservation required (generally, this depends on the season)
- Line N3 Argentière la Fis to Vallorcine Gare (residence 100 meters away) or Vallorcine to Argentière: transport is on demand, by reservation only! Reservations can be made: from 21 days up to 1 hour before your trip via the MyMobi app (or via this website) , 24 hours a day and 7 days a week (be sure to enter the departure stop and the arrival stop).
Access by bus:
The Flixbus company here provides daily connections between Geneva (city or airport) and Chamonix for approximately €15-20 per person (journey time approximately 1 hour 25 minutes)
BlaBlaCar Bus here or Flixbus here provides daily connections between Lyon and Chamonix for approximately €15-20 per person (journey time approximately 3 hours 40 minutes - 4 hours 20 minutes)

Geneva International Airport (88km)
The Flixbus company here provides daily connections between Geneva (city or airport) and Chamonix for approximately €20 per person (1 hour 25 minute journey).
