2. How can I check availability and rates? Is there a minimum stay requirement?

The best way is to consult the Accommodation Menu here and click directly on one of the three apartments. In the dates field, you'll see a precise overview of availability. Simply enter the dates, the number of travelers, and click the 🔎 Search button to find the best rate and book.

The minimum stay is generally 5 nights (except in special offers). During peak season, the minimum stay is 7 nights with arrival on Saturday (except in special offers). If you have a specific request, please contact me: charles@viachamonix.com

3. What payment methods are accepted?

We accept major bank cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, payments via Stripe for added security (3D Secure), bank transfers and ANCV holiday vouchers.

4. What are the cancellation conditions?

Conditions vary depending on the season and the offer. We recommend booking directly to benefit from maximum flexibility and exclusive advantages.

5. What are the arrival and departure times?

  • Arrival: from 5pm

  • Departure: until 10am
    Apartments booked directly are prepared with priority. You will be notified as soon as the apartment is ready.

6. Are the apartments suitable for families or groups?

Yes, our 4-star apartments are spacious and comfortable, with a minimum of 2 bedrooms, perfect for families or groups of up to 5 people (5th bed: convertible armchair suitable for a child or teenager: Le Tourmalin or Le Kristallin). Baby cot and high chairs are available free of charge upon request. Convertible beds are available upon request (single beds to a double bed with a mattress topper).

7. Do the apartments have a terrace? Is the view unobstructed?

Yes, our 4-star apartments have terraces between 15 and 20 m2, with beautiful unobstructed mountain views and no overlooking neighbors. All terraces are furnished with tables, chairs, and sun loungers.

8. Swimming pool and relaxation area? Is there a charge? What are the opening hours?

Yes! Enjoy our heated indoor pool, jacuzzi, sauna, and hammam for a moment of absolute relaxation after your days in the mountains (all services included at no extra charge). Open year-round (closed in November) from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM Sunday through Friday and from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Saturdays. During the off-season, depending on occupancy, the opening hours of the sauna and hammam may be adjusted.

9. How to access the slopes and transport?

Our apartments are 50 meters from the gondola lift to the ski slopes. Vallorcine train station is also just 100 meters away, making it convenient for a car-free stay. In exchange for the tourist tax, you'll receive a guest card that allows you free train travel throughout the Chamonix Valley.

10. Where can I find a ski rental shop? Do you have any good recommendations?

I recommend the Vallorcine Locaskis store which is located at the foot of the Balme/Vallorcine gondola lift, 50 meters from the SNCF train station and a two-minute walk from the residence.
Special offer: if you come from the Les Portes du Mont Blanc residence, you will receive a 20% discount from the 5th day of rental, and 10% from the 2nd day of rental (cannot be combined with other promotions)

11. Is parking available on site? Does the car park have an electric vehicle charging station? What is the height of the covered car park?

Yes, covered parking (2.3 meters high) is available for our guests. A second parking space is available as an option (€25 per stay). If you cannot park in the covered parking lot (vehicle too high with roof box for example), you have the option of parking outside (one parking space per stay inside or outside, 2nd space on option).
Electric charging points are available 5 minutes from the residence in the hamlet of Buet in Vallorcine (public parking)

12. Are the apartments equipped with a kitchen and linens?

All our apartments are fully equipped : modern kitchen, crockery, dishwasher, linens provided, towels (one large and one small) and sheets included. Pool towels not included.

13. What coffee machines do you have?

You have two types of coffee makers: filter coffee makers and Nespresso coffee makers (classic capsules available in supermarkets).

14. What is your Wi-Fi speed? Does the apartment have a dedicated workspace?

High-speed Wi-Fi (fiber > 60 Mbps). Suitable for video conferencing. The Tourmalin and Kristalin rooms are equipped with a workspace (a desk with a chair).

15. What consumables do you provide in the apartment?

Upon arrival, you will receive a welcome kit containing dishwasher tablets, a sponge, Nespresso capsules, and a welcome gift. You will also find dishwashing liquid, bin bags, soap in the bathrooms, paper towels, toilet paper, and condiments (salt, pepper, etc.).

16. Are the apartments equipped with a hairdryer?

Yes, all apartments are equipped with hair dryers.

17. Are the apartments equipped with a washing machine or dryer?

The Le Tourmalin apartment is equipped with a private washing machine and dryer. For the other apartments, there is a shared laundry room in the residence (washing machine or dryer: €6, credit cards accepted).

18. Do you offer any additional services?

Yes, upon request: cot, high chair, personalized advice for hikes and local activities. Modular beds available upon request (double or single beds).

19. What to do in Vallorcine and the Chamonix valley?

  • Winter: skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, cross-country skiing

  • Summer: hiking, trail running, paragliding, mountain biking

  • Must-see discoveries: Mont Blanc, Aiguille du Midi, Mer de Glace, Brévent, Aiguilles Rouges reserve, Verticalp Emosson, Montreux (1 hour) and local Savoyard gastronomy.
