I recommend 1000%. The apartment is very warm and very tasteful, we feel wonderful there!… A few meters from the cable cars we were able to take full advantage of the many slopes of the Balme area! It was the best ski vacation we've had!

This is our 2nd stay in this apartment, and it's just pure joy to be here !!! Charles gave us good advice on the walking outings to do... After a good day in the heart of nature, you will appreciate the swimming pool, jacuzzi, hammam and sauna. The region is magnificent, you will fall in love with it. Ski areas in the Chamonix Mont Blanc valley

The ski lifts of the Balme area (Vallorcine/Le Tour at 2200 meters) are at the foot of the residence. The Poya area (second ski resort 5 minutes away) is ideal for beginners and families (very cheap packages). The Grands Montets area (2700 meters, in Argentières - 15 minutes by car) closes on May 1st, you can ski during the Easter holidays!

The location, and why choose Vallorcine in the Chamonix valley?

A true haven of peace, Vallorcine is a small, authentic village (1300 meters above sea level), quiet, 15 km from Chamonix, surrounded by nature, at the foot of the Aiguilles Rouges. The apartments are very well located in the 4-star tourist residence "Les Portes du Mont Blanc", 50 meters from the Balme gondola (ski on) and 100 meters from the train station to Chamonix (30 minutes - free with the guest cards provided). Many hiking departure points are at the foot of the residence.
Why choose Vallorcine in the Chamonix valley?
Vallorcine is surrounded by nature, it is absolute calm, and the air is pure. The altitude is higher and the snow is more abundant. The accommodation is at the foot of the gondola (skis on), this is rarely the case in Chamonix. And Chamonix is 25 minutes by car and 30 minutes by train!

The Chamonix Mont Blanc valley: a paradise for hiking and trail running

The Chamonix valley is the world capital of trail running and hiking (Ultra Trail du Mont Blanc, Chamonix marathon, etc.)!
500 km of trails for all levels (beginner to very technical). The list is long, I can give you advice based on your desires and levels. Many mountain refuges and restaurants offer beautiful objectives or nice stops. You will be able to see and approach ibexes in the Aiguilles Rouges reserve in Vallorcine (especially in May, June and September).
From mid-June to mid-September, the Vallorcine cable cars are open in pedestrian mode, to start hikes at around 2000 meters. Over a longer period, other gondolas in the Chamonix valley are also open in pedestrian mode for very beautiful hikes!

The 4**** apartments: warm and atypical

High standing apartments all classified 4 stars, independent of the tourist residence and incomparable to the other apartments in the residence. All our apartments have a very beautiful open view (river side or Swiss mountains), optimal comfort (renewed bedding of very good quality equipped with mattress toppers for the large 160x200 beds). The decoration is extremely warm, new, stylish and neat. The level of equipment is very high and superior (games for children, connected speaker, Nespresso coffee machine, a very well-equipped kitchen with plenty of crockery, etc.).
