With nearly 500 km of trails , the valley offers an incredible diversity of landscapes and routes, accessible to all levels. Each season reveals its treasures :
Summer : Summits accessible via ski lifts, long hikes
Autumn : Vibrant colours and peaceful paths
Winter & spring : Snowshoeing or walks at lower altitudes to enjoy the snow in a different way

Chamonix is also the world capital of trail running , hosting legendary races every year; here are the trails in the region:
Mont Blanc Marathon (end of June)
Verbier Saint-Bernard Trail (nearby in Switzerland - early July)
Argentière Trail (mid-July)
UTMB – Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc (end of August)
Trail des Aiguilles Rouges (September)

In Vallorcine and Chamonix, the trails are accessible in all seasons ! Whether you enjoy leisurely walks or more technical hikes, you're sure to find a route that suits you.

Vallorcine/Tour cable cars open to pedestrians from mid-June to mid-September (hiking trails start at 2,000 m)
